I will be totally honest with you all, I’m a serial dreamer. I’ve had more star-in-the-sky dreams on how I want to live my working life than I can count. John can attest to this as he has patiently let me sift through them one by one, waiting for one that would stick.
Since my cancer diagnosis I am feeling an even more intense sense of urgency to find something that fulfills me.
This weekend, however, one of my oldest, most coveted, dreams crossed paths with destiny and I think this one is as sticky as honey. (I certainly hope so for John’s sake, anyways.) The call of this dream/destiny combo was SO loud that it could not be ignored. Even John agrees with me on that, and he is definitely the voice of reason in our household.
This made me wonder if that intersection between dream and destiny is where the miracles in our lives begin. It certainly feels like it, at this point. I wish I could share more, but I’m not ready to reveal much yet. It’s just in the exploration phase and depends heavily on a local friend who would also be a partner.
